First Steps

Anytime we do something new for the first time; call a doctor, speak to a new teacher, take our child on a new play date experience, we are taking a first step.  As parents of an ASD child, we also have to teach our children how to take their first steps.  This podcast talks about how I go about taking a first step and some ways of how to help your child take their first steps.  More importantly, it explains why their first steps can be so very difficult for them.
